Submitting Documents for Coaching Applications
As of 11/01/2024, the Office of Teaching Initiatives no longer accepts certificates of completion of First Aid/CPR coursework directly from applicants.
First Aid & CPR Documentation
- First Aid and CPR certification must be completed with an approved provider. For more information, please contact theÌýNYS Office of P-12 Instructional Support.
- Your school district must attest to your completion of the First Aid and CPR requirements in aÌýSuperintendent StatementÌý(either theÌýSchool District RecommendationÌý´Ú´Ç°ùÌýTemporary License, or theÌýCoaching EvaluationsÌýfor theÌýProfessional Coaching LicenseÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýProfessional Coaching License Renewal).
Coaching Coursework Required for the Individual or NFHS Pathway
- Your course completion certificate(s) orÌýNYSED letter of approved course equivalencyÌýshould be sent to tcert@nysed.govÌýusing the subject line "Coaching Coursework", and include your full name (as it appears in TEACH), your date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security Number in the body of the email.
