Superintendent Statements & School District Recommendations
Superintendent Statements and School District Recommendations (SDRs) are electronic verifications submitted by an applicant's employer onto the applicant's TEACH account. These statements are used to verify mentoring, work experience, and/or the terms of an applicant's employment, depending on the certification requirements.
NYS Public Schools, BOCES, and Charter Schools are required to submit verifications electronically using a Superintendent Statement or School District Recommendation.
Applicants should contact their employer to request that the appropriate statement be submitted to their TEACH account so it can be reviewed as part of their certification application.
